Munster out in front at the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Final

Munster reigned supreme in the Kingdom on May 1st coming away with four titles. It was a fantastic day for the province with a successful hosting of the event complemented by superb performances from our Munster representatives. It was great to see the fantastic support for our Munster competitors from not only their own county but from their neighbouring counties in the province too!

In the Rince Foirne competition Tipperary’s An Caisleán Nua retained the title they had won in 2020 with a stunning performance of the High Cauled Cap.

Cuar an Chláir saw their first ever Scór All Ireland when Dylan Mac Gothraigh took the Aithriseoireacht crown after capturing the audience and the judges with Noel Joyce’s piece ‘The Day I Scored The Winning Goal’ and brought an All Ireland back to the Banner.

Similar to Coorcalare, Naomh Séamus Nuachleas group brought back the club’s first All Ireland crown to the West Cork club following their historic performance of ‘Clonakilty God Help Us’ much to the delight of Rebel supporters.

To round up a fantastic day for the province, the home crowd from An Spá gave a lively performance of the Lakyle Set to win back the Rince Seit cup they last brought to the Kingdom in 2018.

Well done to all our representatives and huge congratulations to all the winners. It was fantastic to see the Scór na nÓg All Ireland Final back again with an amazing atmosphere at the INEC.
