Dublin defeated Clare by 2-11 to 0-10 in the Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Championship Quarter-Final on Monday August 7th at O’Moore Park Portlaoise.

Ross McGarry was the star of the show as Dublin defeated Clare at O’Moore Park. A first half McGarry goal ensured Dublin led at the break by 1-3 to 0-5.
Clare, beaten comprehensively by Kerry in the Munster decider, produced a much improved performance. Dermot Coughlan was sharp from fres, while Gavin Cooney also impressed for Clare.
Five minutes after the restart McGarry added a second goal for Dublin. In the closing stages Sean Hawkshaw kicked a couple of good points as Dublin advanced.
