The launch of the 2026 Munster GAA Hurling, Football, Camogie and Ladies Football Championships took place on Thursday, March 26th, at FBD Semple Stadium and the Dome, Thurles.
In a first for the Munster Championships, players from all four codes joined together for the launch.

Those in attendance heard from Munster GAA Chairman Tim Murphy, Munster Camogie Chairperson Christine Ryan and Munster Ladies Football President Lorraine Royle, who each addressed the event ahead of the 2026 Championship season. A special address from Waterford great Paul Flynn included memories from his distinguished playing career and a look ahead to the excitement of the 2026 Championships.
