Following the completion of the Round 3 games in the EirGrid Munster Under 20 Football Championship on Saturday last March 30th, the scene is now set for Phase 2 and also the B Final.
Tipperary finished top of the Phase 1 table with 5 points following 2 wins and a draw while Clare secured second place with two wins. They will now progress to Phase 2 alongside Cork and Kerry where the Phase 1 teams will have home advantage in Round 1. The top 2 teams in Phase 2 will contest the Munster Final – there will be no semi-finals.
Limerick and Waterford will contest the EirGrid Munster Under 20 Football Championship B Final on Wednesday April 10th at a neutral venue with the winners being presented with the John Kerins Cup in memory of the former Cork All-Ireland winning goalkeeper. The Munster Under 20 Football B winners will progress to the All-Ireland B Semi-Final.
