Tipperary defeated Waterford by 4-14 to 2-16 in the 2009 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final on Sunday in Semple Stadium.

Arrival of Torch from Michael Cusack’s GAA Club – 125th Anniversary Celebrations
The Torch Run from Michael Cusack’s cottage in Carron, Co. Clare to Hayes Hotel in Thurles will take place from 12:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday.
Guinness Gig-Rig – 125th Anniversary Celebrations
The Guinness Gig-Rig will begin entertaining the crowds from 12:00pm onwards on the morning of the Munster Senior and Minor Hurling Finals in Thurles on Sunday July 12th.
