Good Counsel College, New Ross defeated Midleton CBS by 0-22 to 0-15 after extra time in the Masita GAA All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Niall McInerney Cup Final (Junior Hurling ‘A’) on Saturday November 29th at Carriganore, Waterford IT Sports Campus, Waterford.
Termon (Donegal) defeated Mourneabbey (Cork) by 3-12 to 1-13 in the Tesco Homegrown Senior Ladies Football Club Championship Final on Sunday November 30th at Tuam Stadium.
Austin Stacks (Kerry) defeated The Nire (Waterford) by 3-5 to 2-4 in the AIB Munster GAA Club Senior Football Championship Final on Sunday November 30th at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
With Midleton CBS taking the Munster Under 16.5 (A) HC title and Mitchelstown CBS being crowned Munster Under 16.5 (C) HC kingpins last week, the third and final competition the Under 16.5 B HC Munster final takes place this Wednesday in Church Road Grounds, Blackrock 1.00pm between two Cork City Schools - St. Francis Rochestown and Colaiste Criost Ri.
Following the completion of Round 5, Gaelcolaiste Mhuire AG, Castletroy CC, Nenagh CBS and Ard Scoil Ris have qualified for the Quarter-Finals.
