2024 Munster Scór na nÓg Final
Three counties claimed Munster Scór na nÓg Titles at the recent final held in Cappamore.
Brilliant talent took to the stage where cultural fare surfaced in a feast of music, song, drama, dance and quizzing with ten clubs from the province now going forward to the All-Ireland Final.
The prizes were presented by Gearóid Ó Riain, Cathaoirleach Comhairle na Mumhan and Máiréad Uí Fhaoláin, Cathaoirleach Scór na Mumhan.
The Rebels and the Kingdom led the way claiming three Munster crowns each with Bóthar Buí, Béal Átha an Cheasaigh and Naomh Séamus winning silverware for Corcaigh and Lios a Phúca, Gleann Feisce and An Spa claiming titles for Ciarraí. The Premier enjoyed double success through An Caisléan Nua and Teampall Doire Fr. Kenyon. There was also success for the Banner and the Treaty with Dubhrath Gort Lomain (An Clár) and An Bhánóg (Luimneach) qualifing for the All-Ireland Tráth na gCeist competition following their top three finish.
An excellent day’s entertainment was provided by all competitors and the audience most certainly enjoyed the spectacle. We wish our Munster representatives the very best of luck as they go forward to the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg Final on Saturday 25th of January at the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.
