Camogie All-Star Nominations announced
The nominations for the 2009 Camogie All Stars in association with O’Neill’s were announced today with All-Ireland champions Cork being rewarded with 12 nominations. From the other Munster counties, Tipperary (3), Clare (2) and Limerick (1) are also included.

Gala All-Ireland Camogie Championships launched
The 2009 Gala All-Ireland Camogie Championships were launched on June 10th in Croke Park by President Joan O’Flynn, Denise Lord, Customer Service Manager of Gala, and the captains of the 27 counties competing in this year’s Championships at senior, intermediate and junior level.

Munster won the Gael Linn Inter-Provincials title on Sunday.
All Ireland Club Camogie Championship Semi Final
Drom & Inch (Tipperary) defeated Athenry (Galway) by 1-8 to 0-10 in the All Ireland Club Senior Camogie Championship Semi Final on Saturday. Drom & Inch will now play O’Donovan Rossa (Antrim) in the All-Ireland Final. Drom & Inch will hope to emulate fellow Tipperary outfit Cashel by winning the title in a fortnight’s time.
