Tipperary defeated Galway by 3-17 to 3-16 in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Final on Sunday in Croke Park.

Tipperary defeated Clare by 1-22 to 1-17 in the Bord Gais Munster Under 21 Hurling Championship Final on Wednesday July 28th at Semple Stadium Thurles.

Tyrone defeated Kerry by 2-12 to 0-9 in the ESB GAA Football All-Ireland Minor Championship Quarter-Final on Saturday in Croke Park.

The M Donnelly All Ireland Poc Fada Finals will take place on Annaverna Mountain Ravensdale this coming Saturday (31st). The unique sporting and cultural GAA event which is this year once again sponsored by Martin Donnelly (MD) will also see the All Ireland Camogie and Under 16 Poc Fada contests.
