Galway defeated Clare by 2-18 to 1-11 in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Qualifiers Phase 2 on Saturday in Cusack Park Ennis.
A special mass to for the Gaelic Athletic Association will take place on Saturday July 11th at 7:30pm in Thurles Cathedral.
From 8:30pm, there will be Open Air Entertainment on offer for all to enjoy in Liberty Square Thurles.
A special Munster Final "Night at the Dogs" will be held from 8:30pm at Thurles Greyhound Stadium on Saturday July 11th. Half price admission to patrons wearing their County GAA jersey.
The Torch Run from Michael Cusack’s cottage in Carron, Co. Clare to Hayes Hotel in Thurles will take place from 12:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday.
The Guinness Gig-Rig will begin entertaining the crowds from 12:00pm onwards on the morning of the Munster Senior and Minor Hurling Finals in Thurles on Sunday July 12th.
Entertainment by the Artane Band will take place in the Dome at Semple Stadium (New Stand side) from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Sunday July 12th.
