Cork defeated Waterford Institute of Technology by 0-18 to 0-5 in the McGrath Cup Senior Football Preliminary Round on Sunday at Pairc Ui Rinn.

Some of the top names in Gaelic Games coaching will be involved in the GAA’s annual National Games Development Conference – “Coaching Children: Building a Platform for Lifelong Involvement in Gaelic games” – which will take place on Saturday January 15th, in Croke Park.

The first piece of silverware is up for grabs this weekend as Cork College UCC will battle it out with top Belfast side UU Jordanstown. The match will take place in Naas GAA pitch on Saturday at 2pm.

Clare defeated the Cork Institute of Technology by 0-10 to 0-9 in the McGrath Cup Football Quarter-Final on Sunday at Cooraclare.

Kerry defeated the Limerick Institute of Technology by 2-18 to 0-5 in the McGrath Cup Football Quarter-Final on Sunday at Austin Stack Park Tralee.

Cork defeated Limerick by 3-11 to 0-12 in the McGrath Cup Football Quarter-Final on Sunday at the Gaelic Grounds Limerick.

Clare defeated the Institute of Technology Tralee by 1-19 to 2-13 in the Waterford Crystal Cup Senior Hurling Preliminary Round on Sunday in Sixmilebridge.

Waterford defeated Tipperary by 0-11 to 0-9 in the McGrath Cup Football Quarter-Final on Sunday at Walsh Park Waterford.

The Waterford Institute of Technology defeated Tipperary by 2-17 to 1-19 in the Waterford Crystal Cup Senior Hurling Preliminary Round on Sunday in Clonmel Sportsfield.
