Limerick defeated Tipperary by 1-17 to 0-17 in the Semi Final of the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship on Wednesday at Semple Stadium Thurles.

Cork defeated Clare by 0-20 to 0-8 in the second round of the TG4 Munster Ladies Football Senior Championship on Friday in Shannon.

Kilkenny defeated Clare by 1-10 to 0-11 in the Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship on Saturday at Nowlan Park Kilkenny.

Waterford defeated Westmeath by 3-22 to 0-14 in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Qualifier First Round on Saturday in Cusack Park Mullingar.

Longford defeated Limerick by 2-14 to 0-8 in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Qualifiers Round 1 on Saturday in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park Longford.

Galway will play Tipperary in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Qualifiers Round 1 on Saturday June 29th at 7:00pm in Pearse Stadium Galway.

Tipperary defeated Limerick by 4-16 to 2-10 in the TG4 Munster Ladies Football Intermediate Championship on Sunday at Sean Treacy Park Tipperary Town.

Limerick is preparing for the arrival of thousands of hurling, camogie and handball players as it hosts the national sports festival, Féile na nGael. Féile na nGael is a national festival for boys and girls under 14 years of age running from 5th-7th July 2013.
