The draw for the Munster U16 Football Tournament was made this week. The tournament which is sponsored by Fitzgerald’s Woodland’s House Hotel and Golden Vale Milk will take place in Limerick over the weekend of 16th and 17th July. The draw for the tournament which was started in 1993 was made by Sean Walsh Chairman of the Munster Council and Sean Mc Auliffe Chairman of the Limerick Football Board, see attached. There are 8 teams taking part with Cork and Kerry having 2 teams. The Current holders of the John O’Donovan Perpetual Memorial Cup are Tipperary and Kerry North won the Shield competition in 2010.
