The Munster Camogie Council are delighted to announce a new partnership between the Council and Irish TV. This will commence with the live broadcast of our Munster Senior Inter County Final on Saturday May 16th. This is the first time our senior final will be broadcast in the history of Munster Camogie, and with the game being viewed globally, it will be a welcome piece of home to all our supporters here and abroad.
Further follow on programs on Irish TV for the coming months will be a 30 minute stand alone Camogie series, focusing on the county, club, and development of the game in the Province. Munster Council Chairman James Moynihan said today: ‘We are very excited about this innovative venture, and look forward to working with Irish TV in the promotion of our code, which can only be a positive going forward. We have a wonderful game, and it now has the platform to showcase the skill of the players to a global audience and a gateway to introduce people to Camogie for the first time’.
