125th Anniversary Celebrations – Munster Senior Hurling Final weekend

An Historical presentation will take place on Friday July 10th at the Tipperary Institute in Thurles. This event is open to the public.

It will be chaired by Dr. Willie Nolan of UCD, a native of Ballinastick. The 3 speakers are Seamus Leahy of St. Mary’s in Clonmel and a member of the famed Leahy family, who will give a personal perspective on the Foundation Members of the GAA; John Arnold from Fermoy, who will speak about the GAA rivalries between the counties of Munster and Damian Cullen, a journalist and a native of Dublin with Loughmore connections, who will discuss the treatment of hurling in film.
