2024 M Donnelly Munster Poc Fada Final

June 15 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Poc Fada Na Mumhan took place on Saturday last on the Galtee Mountains (host club Garryspillane, Limerick).

The atrocious weather conditions didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the contestants on what was an ideal course. A special word of thanks to Limerick Games Development Committee and in particular their Head of Games James Ryan and his staff for running the event in a most professional manner.

Colin Ryan from Pallasgreen, Co Limerick won the senior competition and the Tommy Quaid cup for the second year in a row with second placed Cathal Dillon from Aherlow, Co. Tipperary joining him in the National Finals on 5th August in the Cooley Mountains.

Matthew O’Sullivan from Ballyheighue, Kerry won the u16 competition and also will represent Munster at the National Finals

A special word to Martin Donnelly for sponsoring the event and to Christy Ryan as always for presenting the trophies on the day.
