Munster GAA Primary Schools Skills Competition
The inaugural Munster GAA hurling and football skills competition for Primary Schools finals were held on June 13th in the Mallow GAA complex. Representatives from each county were brought to display their skills. Teams of 3 from each school showed exceptional skill in catching, passing, kicking, striking, the pick-up, soloing and scoring. Scoil Iognád Rís, Dingle was selected as the winner of the Football skills competition and Scoil Mhuire, Tallow was selected as the winner of the Hurling skills competition. The winning schools both received a voucher for a set of jerseys from Munster GAA presented by Cork dual star Aidan Walsh.
