Simon Moroney appointed as acting Munster GAA CEO

At a Munster Council meeting this evening in Limerick, Chairman Sean Walsh informed the delegates that Pádraig Mac Gearailt, CEO / Runai of Comhairle na Mumhan is on administrative leave effective from January 2nd 2013 until his contract expires on March 31st 2013. Thereafter, he will not be looking to extend his contract with Comhairle na Mumhan.

The Munster Council subsequently approved a recommendation that Simon Moroney will assume the position of Acting CEO / Runai of Comhairle na Mumhan from Monday January 7th 2013 until Monday September 30th 2013.
