Launch of Tralee Parnells Hurling Club

Well over a 100 people attended the launch of the Tralee Parnells Hurling Club in the Kerry County Board Offices in Austin Stack Park, Tralee on Friday July 20th. Speakers included Hurling Officer Joe Walsh, Club Chairperson Mark Ryall, County Board Chairperson Patrick O Sullivan and the Mayor of Tralee Johnny Wall. The Clubs Sponsor ProPlan (Property Management) were also introduced and Rory Kerin’s support so far has been invaluable.

Each player received a new kit and they played Kilmoyley after in a league game. Later in the evening our Special Guest Sean Og O Hailpin spoke to all the players and parents and went down very well.

It was a great start to the new hurling club in Tralee, numbers have grown and people are talking about it which is a good sign, lets see what the future holds.
