St Joseph’s, Foxford 0-13 St Fintan’s, Doon 1-6
TWO late points from midfielder Oisin McHugh proved crucial as St Joseph’s, Foxford captured the title in Tuam Stadium on Saturday. The Connacht champions produced an excellent first-half display against a strong wind and led at the break by 0-8 to 1-3. St Fintan’s Doon CBS from Limerick did their best to rally during the third quarter, with points from Kevin Heuston (two) and Darragh O’Donovan. However, St Joseph’s fought back well and finished strongly to take the glory.
