Bhí Blitz Peile faoi 11, GAAgaeilge Go Games, i bPáirc an Chrócaigh, Baile Átha Cliath ar siúl ar an Luan, 24 Meitheamh, 2024. Ceiliúradh a bhí ann ar pheil agus ar an nGaeilge. Lá Gaeilge agus Gaeltachta é an lá seo i bPáirc an Chrócaigh agus cuireadh faighte ag lucht na gclubanna/scoileanna de bharr go bhfuil Gaeilge ag a gcuid imreoirí/scoláirí.
Bhí 32 foireann agus tuairim is 400 buachaill agus cailín ó phobail Ghaeltachta agus ó scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge agus ó chlubanna atá ag díriú ar Ghaeilge ag glacadh páirte sa lá. Tá an togra seo eagraithe ag Rannóg Cumarsáide CLG, ag Oifigigh Ghaeilge na Mumhan agus Uladh i gcomhar le Rannóg Forbairt Cluichí Náisiúnta CLG.
Ni bhíonn aon bhuaiteoirí oifigiúla ann ar an lá. Is é an sprioc atá ann ná go mbíonn seans ag gach imreoir óg cluiche a imirt agus go mbíonn seans acu sult a bhaint as an lá i bPáirc an Chrócaigh. Sa tslí sin, bíonn gach páiste ina bhuaiteoir!
Bhain gach éinne a bhí páirteach ann an-taitneamh as, agus na páistí ó Chúige Mumhan ach go háirithe.
Maith sibh uilig!
An Ghaeilge abú!
GAAgaeilge Go Games Football Blitz for boys and girls Under 11, took place in Croke Park, Dublin on Monday June 24th, 2024. This was a celebration of football and Gaeilge, an Irish-language and Gaeltacht day in Croke Park, and the clubs/schools present were invited to be part of it, as their players and students speak Irish.
Over 32 teams and approximately 400 boys and girls from Gaeltacht communities, Irish-medium schools and clubs focusing on Irish took part in the day. This project is organised by the GAA Communications Section and Munster and Ulster Irish Language Officers in conjunction with the GAA’s National Games Development Division.
There are no official victors on the day. The goal is for all young players to have a chance to play a game and enjoy a day out in Croke Park. In that sense – everyone is a winner!
A great day was had by all, especially the children from Munster.
An Ghaeilge abú!
