Munster GAA launches Survey on Irish as part of its ongoing promotion of our native language.
Munster GAA is currently developing an Irish Language Plan for implementation from 2023 – 2026.
The aim of the Language Plan is to increase the use of Irish in our organisation, at our games, in our clubs and in our community, in line with our ethos of promoting our language and culture.
Aedín Ní Bhriain, Munster GAA Irish Language Development Officer, is developing the plan in conjunction with all interested parties in our organisation throughout the province. Establishing our current usage of Irish is key in this initial phase of planning and your response to this short survey will be of great benefit to us.
The survey takes less than one minute to complete and submit online and is available in both English and Irish. All information gathered will be anonymised. Results will help us develop a sustainable and impactful action plan and will seek to meet the needs and challenges identified by all involved in our GAA community.
