Press Release on death of Paul Foley Waterford

It is with regret that Munster Council GAA has learnt of the death of Paul Foley of Waterford who was a serving member of the Munster GAA refereeing panel. A former inter-county hurler and footballer with Waterford, Paul refereed colleges, minor and intermediate hurling games in Munster. Comhairle na Mumhan extends its deepest sympathy to his family, friends and refereeing and GAA colleagues at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

His funeral arrangements are as follows:

The death has occurred of Paul FOLEY Belle Lake, Woodstown, Waterford

Requiem Mass tomorrow Thursday at 1.00oc in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in lieu to Waterford Hospice. House private please.
