Ceardlann Pleanála Teanga leis an bPleanálaí Teanga Colm Ó Cinnseala i gCorcaigh
Tá Glór na nGael chun ceardlann pleanála teanga a eagrú leis an Pleanálaí Teanga Colm Ó Cinnseala ar an gCéadaoin 1ú Iúil ag 6pm, i nGael-Taca, Port Uí Shúilleabhain i gCorcaigh. Cuireann Colm Ó Cinnseala seirbhísí gairmiúla pleanála teanga agus taighde ar fáil do phobail ar fud an domhain a labhraínn mionteanga. Is ceardlann í seo atá dírithe ag Oifigí Gaeilge & Chultúir sa CLG agus d’oifigí agus baill eile den CLG gur spéis leo an Ghaeilge a chur chun chinn sna clubanna nó sa Chontae. Beidh fáilte chomh maith roimh coistí deonacha gur mian leo plean a dhréachtú nó plean a láidriú maidir le chur chun chinn an Ghaeilge sa Phobal. Ag an ócáid seo, pléifear cad is plean teanga, na céimeanna bunúsacha le plean a scríobh, buntáistí le pleanáil ag leibhéal an chlub agus an ghrúpa phobail agus an slí gur féidir le plean teanga fís a chruthú a chuirfidh le h-inmharthanacht an ghrúpa.

Language Planning Workshop in Cork with Language Planner Colm Ó Cinnseala
Glór na nGael will be organising a language planning workshop with the Language Planner Colm Ó Cinnseala ón Wednesday 1st July at 6pm in Gael-Taca in Cork City. Colm Ó Cinnseala provides a professional language planning and research service to communities throughout the world who speak a minority language. The workshop is directed at Irish Language and Cultural Officers in the GAA and to other officers and members of the GAA who are interested in promoting the use of the Irish language in clubs or in the county. Voluntary community groups who wish to draft of strengthen a plan to develop the use of Irish within communities are also welcome to attend. The event will explore what is a language plan, the basic steps to writing a plan, the benefits to language planning at a club and community level and the ways in which a language plan can create a vision that will increase the viability of the group.
