Who passed away tragically due to a Road Traffic Accident on 27th January 2014.
1st Anniversary & Acknowledgement
The family of the late Shane Hourigan wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our very sad loss.
We would like to thank those sent Mass cards, flowers, enrolments, letters of sympathy, made phone calls, those who attended his home and funeral. Special thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us. We acknowledge with gratitude the very kind support shown by our neighbours, friends and the GAA community. Sincere thanks to those who brought food and refreshments. Many thanks to Rathkeale Fire Services, the Gardai, Ambulance Service and to the kind staff of Limerick University Hospital. Sincere thanks to Fr Phonsie Cullinane, Fr Willie Russell, Fr Mossie Costello, Fr Tim Curtin and Fr Fergal O’Neill who concelebrated the mass. Thanks to Marie Sheahan, Aimee Jones and Marguerite McEnery for the beautiful music. Thanks to Shane’s friends and family who dug his grave. Sincere gratitude and appreciation to St Mary’s Sean Finns GAA who helped neighbours to coordinate traffic, thanks also to present and past players who formed a guard of honour along with many referees who helped to carry Shane to his final resting place. First anniversary mass for Shane will be held on Sunday 25th January at 11.30 am in St Mary’s Church, Rathkeale.
