Cadbury launched the Moro GAA bar recently with the help of All-Ireland hurling and football heroes Michael Darragh Macauley and Brendan Bugler, and Under 21 rising stars, Cavan’s Killian Clarke and Cork’s Alan Cadogan. The players were joined by Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael, Liam Ó Néill, in Croke Park to introduce the official Cadbury GAA bar and an exciting new competition for GAA fanatics.
To celebrate the launch of the Moro GAA bar, which is being sold exclusively in partnership with Supervalu and Centra, and Cadbury’s 10th year as sponsor of the Under 21 Football Championship, Cadbury are offering two GAA enthusiasts the incredible chance to win a once in a lifetime prize. Two lucky GAA fans will have the opportunity to show their passion for the GAA and win an all-expenses paid GAA trip of a lifetime to the USA to watch the Opel GAA GPA All-Stars in Boston and they will each get to bring a friend!
The amazing prize includes flights, five nights’ accommodation in the team hotel, exclusive access to the All-Stars training, meet and great with the players and match tickets. On top of all this the winners will also receive a whopping €2,000 each. However, that’s not the only thing on offer. Fans can also win prizes right through from April to September with monthly rewards up for grabs including Championship match tickets, Croke Park Stadium tours, Cadbury GAA jerseys and delicious hampers.
Also at the launch was former Dublin manager Paul Caffrey, who along with TG4 journalist, Mícheál Ó Domhnaill and Kerry legend Tomás O’Sé will be judging this year’s Cadbury Hero of the Future award. As the Cadbury GAA Football U21 All-Ireland Championship is in full swing, the Hero of the Future judges are once again looking for their winner. The initiative, which began in 2006, recognises and highlights the skill and commitment of U21 footballers across Ireland and has been awarded to stars of the game including Cork’s Colm O’Neill and Dublin’s Ciaran Kilkenny. This year’s winner, which will be announced at the end of the Championship, will receive €1,000 as well as a special grant of €1,000 for their club.
