Munster Post-Primary Schools’ Servicing Officer (Temporary)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above position. The person appointed will be employed by Comhairle na Mumhan C.L.G. and will be based in the Council HQ in Castletroy, County Limerick. The successful Candidate will have responsibility for the provision of administrative, clerical and games planning/management services to the Provincial Post-Primary Schools Council. The person will also be responsible for the provision of administrative and logistical back up for Council games and events and other administrative/clerical duties as assigned from time to time. While the basic hours will be normal office hours the appointee will be required to work in the evening and at weekends from time to time on a regular basis. The successful Candidate shall be offered a fixed-term contract of twelve months in duration.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills;

• A knowledge and understanding of GAA structures;

• Strong IT skills;

• A knowledge and understanding of administration;

• A knowledge and preferably experience in event management;

• A good standard of education; and

• A flexible approach to work.
