Munster GAA Hurling Activity Days 2012
Páirc na nGael, Limerick
The Munster GAA Hurling Activity Days held in Páirc na nGael, Limerick on July 31st and August 1st brought Under 12 hurling teams together from clubs in all counties in Munster. Each team got to play several matches against teams from different counties on the hallowed turf in the Gaelic Grounds. Afterwards Hurling stars James Ryan (Limerick) and Brendan Bugler (Clare) brought the players and their mentors and supporters on a tour of the stadium and recounted some of the memorable moments that they were part of in their sporting careers.
The clubs that provided teams over the 2 days included Ballingarry, Knockainey, Drom and Inch, Patrickswell, Kilmoyley, Kilmallock, Golden Kilfeakle, St Josephs Doora Barefield, Ballyheigue, Crotta O’Neills, Clooney-Quinn, Naomh Bríd (Waterford), Granard Gaels, Cappoquin, Ennistymon, Kilruane MacDonaghs, Cahir, Ballinahassig, Inagh-Kilnamona, St Marys (Waterford), Claughaun, Sliabh Rua, Kilmaley, Na Piarsaigh (Cork), Na Piarsaigh (Limerick), Ballinahinch, St Marks and Arravale Rovers.
