Munster final place a unique opportunity — Michael McDermott

Clare manager Michael McDermott is urging his players to rekindle the memories of 1992 and make it through to a Munster Final.

John Maughan’s charges famously defeated the Kingdom in the Munster final that year, Clare’s first provincial title since 1917

Clare take on Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday for the right to face either Cork or Kerry on the 8th of July and Banner boss McDermott is grateful for the chance to have avoided the big guns thus far in Munster.
