Lar back in the reckoning to face Cork – Declan Ryan
After an extended break from inter county hurling 2010 hurler of the year
Lar Corbett looks set to make his first appearance of the summer
against Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
Now back in training after a well publicised return to the panel
the manager of the reigning Munster Senior Hurling champions says
the Thurles Sarsfields clubman is showing great form in training
and mad for a return to action.
This has given rise to an expectation that Corbett will be given
gametime against the rebels on Leeside, a venue that has proven
a happy hunting ground for the home side against Tipp in the past.
Having blown Waterford away in last year’s Munster Championship final
and accounting for Limerick in their opening match of the provincial series
the Tipp boss says his panel are relaxed and more focused than
12 months ago.
