All-Ireland champions Dublin lead the way in this year’s football All-Stars with six awards including three first time recipients – Kevin Nolan, Michael Darragh Macauley and Paul Flynn.

Goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton receives his fourth award while Alan and Bernard Brogan are awarded their third and second respectively.

Beaten All-Ireland finalists Kerry receive four including what is Colm Cooper’s seventh.

Donegal’s strong season is acknowledged with three awards – all in defence – as Neil McGee, Kevin Cassidy and Karl Lacey are all honoured.

The final positions go to Kildare’s Michael Foley and Andy Moran of Mayo.

The individual player of the year awards were voted on by GPA members after the compilation of a short list from the scheme’s Steering Committee, which is made up of GAA journalists.
