Munster Under 21 Hurling Championship Semi-Finals
Clare defeated Cork by 1-20 to 1-11 in the Munster Under 21 Hurling Championship Semi-Final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Monday evening. Clare led by 1-9 to 0-5 at the interval and held their lead comfortably for most of the second half to run our deserving nine point winners.
In the other semi-final, Tipperary defeated Limerick by 1-13 to 0-15 on Wednesday evening at Semple Stadium Thurles. Tipperary led by 1-8 to 0-8 at half-time thanks to an 18th minute goal by Shane Bourke. Limerick dominated for long periods in the second half and drew level with two minutes of normal time remaining before a late point by Tipperary full-forward Mark O’Meara in the 62nd minute ensured a one point victory for Tipperary.
