DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny defeated Waterford by 2-19 to 1-19 after extra time in the Glen Dimplex Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Final on Saturday July 4th at Croke Park. \n\nNolan’s extra cool double strike seals it for Cats \nBy Daragh Ó Conchúir at Croke Park \nKilkenny 2-19 Waterford 1-19\n(0-15 to 0-15 at the end of normal time) \nTwo extra time goals from super sub Katie Nolan separated Kilkenny from their obdurate neighbours Waterford and got them over the line in a dramatic Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior camogie quarter-final that required extra time to find a result. \nNolan is a dual All-Star\, who was player of the match as she bagged her second All-Ireland medal with a brilliant performance in the 2022 final\, but she has had to be satisfied with a place on the bench during this year’s championship with a slew of young guns making their presence felt. \nThe St Martin’s attacker has scored in every game when introduced but her influence was never more crucial than to shake the rigging twice with an All-Ireland quarter-final in the melting pot. \nShe could thank Steffi Fitzgerald for the assists but Kilkenny had a lot of heroes. Laura Murphy was an inspirational operator around the middle third and few would argue with her POTM award. \nThe O’Loughlin Gaels star scored five points from play when the Stripeywomen lost in extra time at the same stage of the competition 12 months ago. \nAfter scoring an early point\, Murphy hit the ground and immediately pounded the turf in obvious agony. \nAfter a period of treatment\, she left the pitch\, got further treatment and a heavy strapping and apparently miraculously\, returned to the fray for more than an hour\, finishing with four points and hurling a massive amount of ball. \nAoife Prendergast\, who had a penalty saved last year\, lofted over nine points while the defence excelled\, youngster Ava Brett tasked with hounding former player of the year Beth Carton and doing a fantastic job\, and the likes of Michelle Teehan and Caoimhe Dowling also standing up well. \nIronically\, given what unfolded 12 months ago\, it was Carton who failed to register a score from a penalty this time\, the De La Salle genius firing just wide at the end of the first half. \nThe nature of a game like this though\, meant that there would be any amount of moments that might have been difference-makers. \nIt was nip and tuck throughout. The teams were level eight times in regulation play\, so it did not come as a surprise that an hour wasn’t enough to separate these two gritty sides. \nIt was a game in which defences largely held sway with Tiffanie Fitzgerald and Laoise Forrester as spare defenders for the Nore and Suir crew respectively.  \nWaterford had to plan without the suspended multiple All-Star Niamh Rockett\, who had been utilised off the bench in the last two round-robin games. Not having her to call upon in knockout fare was a considerable blow. \nNot that you’d have known it from the throw-in\, as Mairéad O’Brien rounded Niamh Deely to open the scoring and Carton followed up with a brilliant score over the shoulder. \nKilkenny settled\, Prendergast’s 12th minute pointed free the first of four consecutive scores\, the Dicksboro ace adding two more after Murphy galloped into open territory and split the posts. \nCarton and Annie Fitzgerald helped re-establish Waterford’s advantage and Michael Boland’s girls led by 0-9 to 0-7 at the interval\, Abby Flynn and Lorraine Bray slotting two points after Carton’s 30th minute penalty miss to give them some separation. \nKilkenny stormed out of the traps after the resumption with three points to restore a slim advantage. \nSarah Barcoe and Murphy grabbed two of those\, and Barcoe’s influence grew significantly in the second half\, until an injury forced her to have two bouts of temporary substitution before finally having to leave the fray. \nThe Thomastown flier had been well martialled by Vikki Falconer but as the supply began to improve\, she brought her tally to three points\, and was fouled for one of Prendergast’s frees. \nBarcoe’s third made it 0-14 to 0-12 in the 54th minute and by now\, Waterford had dispensed with the sweeper. They earned their reward by drawing level via points from Fitzgerald and Eimear O’Neill and after sub Claire Doheny nudged Kilkenny ahead\, a converted free from Carton in the second minute of injury time necessitated another 20 minutes and change. \nUnsurprisingly perhaps\, as energy drained\, spaces opened and Kilkenny made the most goal chances. Soon after Fitzgerald had nosed Waterford ahead on 15 seconds\, Murphy created one chance brilliantly but shot just wide. \nNolan made no mistake seconds later\, with a brilliant finish in the 62nd minute after Steffi Fitzgerald had a shot brilliantly saved by Brianna O’Regan. Indeed\, he Cats looked every inch a side capable of competing in Group 1. Now is the time to prove it. They come up against a Waterford team\, looking to breathe life into their season after final defeats in the Centra Camogie League and Munster Championship. \nSarah Barcoe’s goal-scoring form has the rest of Ireland on notice\, while Aoife Prendergast has been her reliable self. There is no doubting which team is entering the tie with all the momentum. \nThe Déise have been operating against a higher calibre of opposition in recent weeks\, but it will be interesting to see whether there has been a psychological toll of consecutive defeats at the hands of Galway and Cork. \nEimear O’Neill and Beth Carton have led the charge for the Suir-siders\, and they will need to be on top-form. Mick Boland’s team were the form team in the early stages of 2026\, and they will be gunning to show the rest of the country that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the championship.

Then\, the worry arrived when Cork reeled off 1-4 without reply to lead 1-12 to 1-7 as the interval approached. \nGalway\, though\, demonstrated defiance clipping five of the last six first half points to ensure only the minimum was the deficit at the turnaround\, 1-13 to 1-12. \nAfter the restart the game was about Galway’s purpose and passion. Cork were restricted to five points. The match altering third quarter burst featured nine unanswered Galway scores. \nCork just couldn’t recover and another harrowing loss at the Jones Road venue suffered. \nInitially\, Galway had edged 0-3 to 0-2 ahead before Conor Whelan released Darragh Neary to plant a sixth minute goal. The splendid Jason Rabbitte added a point to steer Galway 1-4 to 0-2 in front. \nCork\, prompted by the excellent Brian Hayes\, did summon a response\, narrowing the gap to one\, 1-6 to 0-8 by the 18th minute. \nTiernan Killeen fired over a Galway point\, but then Cork enjoyed a spell of supremacy. Ní Chonchúir was influential in the build up\, and her pass across the goal was punched to the back of the net by Mary O’Connell. \nO’Shea added to her tally when Meath breached the three-up rule before hand-passing over a minute later. Although Kate Sullivan’s superb score at the opposite end looked set to leave the teams inseparable\, an impressive contribution from Emma Cleary handed the Leesiders a slender 1-7 to 1-6 cushion at the interval. \nA determined Dublin initially hit the ground running on the restart with quickfire points by the influential duo of Nolan and Sullivan\, but Cork restored parity when centre-forward Grace Murphy opened her account on 35 minutes. \nLaura Grendon briefly restored the Dublin lead with her first of the day\, only for Cork to once again show they meant business with unanswered white flag scores from Hallihan and Quirke (two). DESCRIPTION:Tipperary defeated Clare by 3-20 to 3-13 in the Glen Dimplex Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Final on Sunday July 5th at Croke Park. \n\nMatch Highlights \n \n\nPremier score power capitalises on Banner wastefulness \nBy Daragh Ó Conchúir at Croke Park \nTipperary 3-20 Clare 3-13 \nTipperary will play Cork in the semi-finals of the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior camogie championship on their home turf of Semple Stadium in three weeks\, after a third quarter burst ensured more than enough breathing space to cope with Clare’s late purple patch. \nThe draw was made immediately after the conclusion of the game and it means champions Galway will take on yesterday’s quarter-final victors\, Kilkenny as part of a double header in Thurles. \nTipperary led by six points\, 0-10 to 0-4 at half-time and had seven points on the board by the time Andrea O’Keeffe got Clare off the mark with a spectacular score in the 24th minute. \nIndeed\, James Heffernan’s side led by nine when Grace O’Brien bagged her second point in the 27th minute but Clare finished strongly\, landing the last three points from Róisín McMahon\, joint-captain Clare Hehir and Róisín Begley\, the latter two scores from frees. \nThat had to give the Bannerwomen hope\, not least that they might be after refining their shooting radar\, because on the balance of play\, they were far closer to their Munster rivals than the scoreline implied. \nTheir wastefulness extended beyond the nine wides\, with some bad options taken ending with balls dropping short. Photo by Piaras Ó Mídheach/Sportsfile \n\n\nCertainly\, with Hehir’s fellow joint-skipper Abby Walsh excelling in the heart of the Clare defence\, there was plenty supply but they couldn’t make it count in any meaningful way until that late flurry and then\, when it was too late\, in the closing stages when they goaled three times from the 50th minute\, courtesy of always threatening sub Áine O’Loughlin and an Ellen Casey brace from a free and penalty. \nIn contrast\, Tipperary were far more economical. DESCRIPTION:Cork defeated Tyrone by 2-16 to 1-16 in the Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Championship Final on Sunday July 5th at Cedral St Conleth’s Newbridge. \n\nMatch Highlights \n\nWATCH: FULL-TIME HIGHLIGHTS 📺@OfficialCorkGAA are the All-Ireland Minor Football Champions after defeating @TyroneGAALive in a dramatic final in Newbridge 🏆🏆@OfficialCorkGAA 2-16@TyroneGAALive 1-16#CORvTYR pic.twitter.com/nLuyOonvJA \n— The GAA (@officialgaa) July 5\, 2026 \n  \n\n\nREPORT: @OfficialCorkGAA are @ElectricIreland minor football champions for the first time in seven years after a thrilling second-half comeback saw them defeat @TyroneGAALive in Newbridge. #GAABelong https://t.co/y5SQSaOcZK \n— The GAA (@officialgaa) July 5\, 2026 \n  \nElectric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Final: Cork comeback floors Tyrone \nCork 2-16 Tyrone 1-16 \nReport By Paul Keane at Cedral St Conleth’s Park\, Newbridge for GAA.ie \nCork are Electric Ireland minor football champions for the first time in seven years after clinching a landmark title success thanks to a thrilling second-half revival in Newbridge. \nBehind by 0-7 to 1-13 with 39 minutes on the clock\, it didn’t look particularly good for Cork as they trailed a Tyrone side chasing back-to-back titles. \nBut Keith Ricken’s Cork rose superbly to the occasion and outscored the Red Hands by 2-9 to 0-3 from there on to claim a 12th title at the grade for the county. \nCork did have the stiff breeze behind them for the second half but they also turned in the 20 minutes or so of their young lives. \nCaptain Joe Miskella’s 0-3 haul\, a single and a two-pointer\, ignited the comeback and goals from substitute Alex O’Herlihy and Eoghan Aherne\, who finished with 1-5\, hauled Cork back from the brink to clinch a landmark win. \nMiskella\, son of Cork great John Miskella\, finished with 0-5 while Jacob Barry and Tom Whooley contributed vital points also as Cork turned the screw impressively. \nGoalkeeper Rory Twohig pulled off a series of important saves too and etched his name in the county’s history books. \nCork trailed for the majority of the game and only actually regained the lead when Aherne netted after a stunning solo run in the 60th minute. \nFor manager Ricken\, who had a spell in charge of the seniors in 2022\, it is an impressive double having already managed Cork to an All-Ireland U-20 title in 2019. \nBut it will be a bitter pill for Ger Donnelly and his Tyrone crew to swallow having led by seven points at half time and extended that lead to nine in the third quarter. \nTyrone trailed by two points at half time in last year’s final win over Kerry before summoning a powerful second-half display to take the title. \nThis time around\, against another Munster powerhouse\, they were the ones with the interval advantage and it was a significant one\, 1-10 to 0-6. \nMiskella nailed an early two-pointer to leave the Munster champions 0-3 to 0-1 to the good. \nBut from there on\, it was all about the collective work rate\, intensity and quality of an excellent Tyrone team. \nOver the next 13 minutes or so\, Tyrone reeled off 0-9 without response\, applying a powerful press on Rory Twohig’s kick-outs and taking full advantage as the Cork goalkeeper struggled to find red jerseys. \nCork retained just six out of 12 of Twohig’s kick-outs in the first half and\, during this period of Tyrone dominance\, coughed up five in a row. \nMatthew F Daly\, who came on in last year’s final\, sourced Tyrone’s fifth point from a turnover on Twohig’s kick-outs as Cork sought desperately to regain a foothold in the game. \nTyrone got another huge boost when Aodhan Corry netted from the penalty spot in the 26th minute\, Gormley fouled by Conor Downing after being expertly played in by Matthew J Daly. \nCork finished the half with a couple of points from free-takers Aherne and Ben Hegarty but could have done with a goal. Donal Herlihy and Barry both had shots blocked while Miskella smashed a 17th minute effort off the bar. \nRuairí O’Neill struck the bar for Tyrone too with a ninth minute lobbed effort so they were good value for their seven-point lead at the break. \nTyrone got the gap out to nine\, 1-13 to 0-7\, before suffering their own kick-out malfunction. \nFrom three Ronan O’Neill kick-outs that were won by Cork\, the young Rebels turned those possessions into 1-3\, sub O’Herlihy netting in the 42nd minute after recycling Hegarty’s two-point attempt that dropped short. \nIn all\, Cork scored an unanswered 1-5 to cut the deficit to the bare minimum as Tyrone clung on to a 1-13 to 1-12 lead approaching the three-quarter mark. \nIt was all Cork now and they were further inspired by Twohig saves from Tyrone shots by McGuckin and Corry. \nTyrone briefly took the lead after a McGuckin point in the 58th minute\, 1-16 to 1-15\, but that Aherne goal clinched it for Cork\, prompting a pitch invasion afterwards as Newbridge was engulfed in a sea of red. \n\n \nJoe Miskella of Cork lifts the cup after the Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Championship final match between Tyrone and Cork at Cedral St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge\, Kildare. Credit to Clare they managed to create one last chance right at the death\, but Peter Duggan’s snap-shot was saved by Nickie Quaid. \nWhen the final whistle blew Clare men fell to the floor lie swatted flies all over the pitch. They’d given everything they had\, but it wasn’t quite enough. \nSo many of them won their individual battles\, and until Limerick came with their late charge it seemed as though the extent to which Clare got their match-ups right would dominate the post-match narrative. \nWhen they announced John Conlon as a late replacement for Shane Meehan you figured Clare were going to play the veteran as a sweeper\, but Brian Lohan had a much more ambitious plan up his sleeve. \nConlon was detailed to go toe to toe with another physically abrasive warrior in the middle of the field\, Darragh O’Donovan\, and that was just one of a number of novel match-ups that Clare initiated and got largely positive results from. \nWe’re used to seeing Conor Cleary man-mark Aaron Gillane\, but instead David McInerney got that task with Cleary instead moving out to the half-back line to pick up Gearóid Hegarty. \nIn attack too\, Clare set the agenda with their positioning as Peter Duggan came out to centre forward to go mano a mano with William O’Donoghue and Tony Kelly was situated on the edge of the Limerick square against Dan Morrissey. \nThis switch in particular paid immediate dividends as the electric Kelly scored two points in the first 11 minutes. If the speed\, first-touch\, and unerring accuracy he showed for those scores didn’t tell you the Clare legend was very much in the zone then the bullishness with which he celebrated them did. \nAll of his team-mates were producing a similar level of intensity and as the half progressed they won more and more small battles for possession that tilted the balance of power in their favour. \nA big turn-over in defence that resulted with Peter Duggan driving the ball over the Limerick bar from well inside his own half testified to the combination of heart and skill that Clare were playing with. \nNo-one typified this more than Duggan himself who was hugely influential. DESCRIPTION:US GAA defeated Warwickshire by 2-13 to 1-11 after extra time in the GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Championship Semi-Final on Friday July 10th at the GAA Centre of Excellence\, Abbottstown. \n\n\nREPORT: @GAA_USA are through to their first ever All-Ireland Junior Football Championship Final after victory today over @warwickshireclg. #GAABelong https://t.co/LPkbSG59wd \n— The GAA (@officialgaa) July 10\, 2026 \n  \nAll-Ireland JFC semi-final: USGAA advance after extra time \nUSGAA 2-13 Warwickshire 1-11 \nAfter extra time \nBy Paul Keane at GAA National Games Development Centre\, Abbotstown for GAA.ie \nEoin Gormley provided the inspiration in Abbotstown as USGAA secured their first ever All-Ireland JFC final place. \nIntroduced to the competition two years ago\, the combination outfit came good at the end of a punishing extra time affair played in sweltering heat. \nPicking from a range of clubs across Philadelphia\, Chicago\, San Francisco and Boston\, Brian Kennedy’s side dug deep to firstly secure extra time and then edge the extra 20 minutes. \nAnd Aidan McAnespie’s clubman Gormley represented the sharpened point of USGAA’s attack\, nailing 1-5 which included a two-pointer with only seconds remaining of normal time to force extra time. \nHe built on that terrific score with another 1-3\, punishing a jaded Warwickshire and helping USGAA to reel off an unanswered 1-3 in the second half of extra time. \nIt’s the end of the line for Warwickshire who’d bounced back from their All-Britain final loss to London with an impressive five-point defeat of Kilkenny at the All-Ireland quarter-final stage. \nBut USGAA may feel they’re just getting going and have booked a glamour pass to Croke Park for Sunday’s landmark final against New York or London\, a game that will be played ahead of the sellout Dublin v Kerry All-Ireland SFC semi-final encounter. \nUSGAA will probably kick themselves for not getting it done in normal time here because they led for the majority of the hour. \nThe sides were level three times in the opening half up to 0-4 apiece but Warwickshire never actually got in front and USGAA were good value for their 0-6 to 0-4 half-time lead. \nEoin Morrissey scored USGAA’s first three points and took his tally to 0-5 with a terrific two-pointer just before the interval. \nUSGAA got the margin out to five points at one stage early in the second half when they enjoyed a double scores 1-7 to 0-5 lead. \nMichael Kerr’s 36th minute goal put them into that commanding position and was a terrific score which looked at that stage like it might settle the contest. \nMorrissey was a central figure again\, collecting a kick-out from his own goalkeeper before feeding substitute Kerr who raced clear and slid the ball to the Warwickshire net. \nWarwickshire appeared to be in real trouble but extricated themselves impressively from the sticky situation\, reeling off 1-4 without response. \nSubstitute Eamonn Brannigan\, McGettrick\, Paddy Heffernan and McGettrick again all sniped single points before McGettrick pounced for a 58th minute goal that left them sitting pretty\, 1-9 to 1-7 ahead. \nAidan Mee did the spadework for the Warwickshire goal\, evading defender Ronan Orford down the right and playing the ball across that McGettrick pulled on first time. \nMcGettrick was glad to see that one go in because he had a 54th minute penalty saved by Brian Bowler\, following a foul on the lively Jack Keogh. \nNow it was time for USGAA to chase the game but when Morrissey knocked a two-point attempt wide\, time was running out. \nWith just 10 seconds left on the clock\, Gormley seized possession just outside the arc and swung his boot at it\, splitting the posts for an orange flag score and a 1-9 to 1-9 stalemate that necessitated extra time. \nTwo Keogh points left Warwickshire a point to the good at the interval of extra time\, 1-11 to 1-10. \nBut they didn’t score again as USGAA took over completely\, capitalising on a series of turnovers with a number of breakaway scores in the second half of extra time. \nGormley’s goal\, in the 79th minute\, sealed the win for USGAA as he blasted home from close range after being fed by Richard Lenke. \n\n \nEoin Morrissey of USGAA in action against Eamonn Brannigan\, left\, and Jason McCallion of Warwickshire during the GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Championship semi-final match between USGAA and Warwickshire at the GAA National Development Centre in Abbotstown\, Dublin. DESCRIPTION:London defeated US GAA by 5-12 to 0-17 in the GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Championship Final on Sunday July 12th at Croke Park. \n\nAll-Ireland JFC final: Glory for London \nLondon 5-12 USGAA 0-17 \nReport By Paul Keane at Croke Park for GAA.ie \nShaun McCready netted twice at Croke Park as London finally regained the All-Ireland JFC title\, coming good after narrow final defeats in 2024 and 2025. \nMcCready’s second goal\, and London’s third\, arrived in the 47th minute and put Paul Coggins’ side eight points clear at that stage. \nAnd two late goals\, from substitute Niall McGivney and Alifie McNulty\, applied the gloss to a big win as London captured their seventh junior title. \nIt’s their first win at the grade since 1986 and their previous six titles came before the competition was reconstituted in 2022\, mainly catering for overseas units. \nLondon had pushed hard for titles in the last two years but lost to New York in back-to-back finals. \nThey put a big push on to get over the line in 2026 and after retaining the All-Ireland Britain title\, beating Warwickshire in that final last month\, they overcame old rivals New York in the All-Ireland semi-final on Friday evening. \nWith both sides requiring extra time to win their semi-finals in Abbotstown on Friday\, it was a question of which team would cope better with the fatigue for the final. \nLondon appeared to do the better job of it\, hitting the ground running and putting 1-4 on the board before USGAA had even got off the mark. \nRedican\, from the Tara club\, sniped 1-1 of that tally\, fisting a point before being played in for an 11th minute goal by Eoin McGivney. \nBut as the London kick-out malfunctioned – they lost five in a row at one stage – a USGAA side drawing players from Philadelphia\, Chicago\, San Francisco and Boston were provided with a platform to haul themselves right back into the contest. \nThey responded with seven points in a row\, three from wing-back Ronan Orford\, to tie the game up by the 21st minute\, 1-4 to 0-7. \nCrucially\, USGAA never actually took the lead and when McCready scored his first goal\, just seconds before half time\, lobbing the goalkeeper with what appeared a point attempt\, London 2-5 to 0-8. \nLondon captain Noel Maher\, fresh from raising an orange flag in Friday evening’s semi-final\, boomed over two huge two-pointers in the third quarter. \nBrian Kennedy’s USGAA briefly got it going again with three points in a row\, from Declan Kelly\, Michael Moylan and sub Michael Kerr. \nAnd later on they scored four points in a row\, but the damage had been done at that stage\, McCready’s second goal\, and London’s third\, coming in the 47th minute. \nMcCready redirected a long delivery to the net to leave London 3-12 to 0-13 up at that stage. \nMcGivney made it goal number four for London in the 59th minute\, his shot ghosting beyond a group of players to the net and McNulty was fed by McCready for the fifth at the death. \n\n \nEoin Gormley of USGAA in action against Ryan McCready of London during the GAA Football All-Ireland Junior Championship Final match between USGAA and London at Croke Park in Dublin. In a tight match\, the efficiency mattered deeply. \nDublin will reflect on missed opportunities\, but the past month has brought plenty of encouragement for Brennan’s outfit. \nJack O’Connor’s savvy Kerry side pounced to score goals at crucial times in a keenly contested encounter\, especially after the restart. Dublin had commenced the second half admirably\, edging three points ahead\, but Seán O’Brien’s goal was a decisive moment. \nCharlie McMorrow replied with a Dublin score\, but Kerry\, promoted by Paudie Clifford\, seized the initiative. The Clifford brothers landed two pointers either side of a single from Paudie as Kerry moved four clear. \nDublin battled until the end\, but it wasn’t enough. Kerry closed out the deal. \nAn early two point free from the splendid Cormac Costello signalled Dublin’s intent\, but Kerry netted a third minute goal. \nPeadar Ó Cofaigh was adjudged to have fouled Joe O’Connor resulting in a Kerry penalty. David Clifford’s effort was saved by Evan Comerford\, but the Fossa attacker netted the rebound. \nThe first half was hard fought with Kerry accumulating a 1-7 to 0-8 advantage by the 26th minute. Then Dublin enjoyed an enterprising burst as Costello (two) and McMorrow contributed points. \nKerry\, though\, restored parity on the cusp of half-time courtesy of a sweet Seán O’Shea effort. DESCRIPTION:Laois defeated Kerry by 1-17 to 2-7 in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship Semi-Final on Saturday July 18th at Glenisk O’Connor Park Tullamore. \n\nLaois 1-17 Kerry 2-7 \nSeven points was the margin in Tullamore\, but it felt much more comprehensive as Laois conceded a goal at the start of each half and still eased to a 1-17 to 2-7 win. \nJackie Horgan pounced on a dropped ball to fire in the opening goal inside 60 seconds and Kerry doubled that lead with three quick points\, only for Laois to hit back with six in a row. \nGráinne Delaney ended a run of three Laois wides with a pointed free\, Kaylee O’Keeffe missed a goal chance but raised the white flag\, and there were further scores from play from Aimee Collier and Sarah Creagh to level the game\, with the breeze favouring Kerry at this point. \n1-4 to 0-8 behind at half-time\, Kate Lynch gave Kerry another super start to the second half and they led by three approaching the midway point of the period\, but were simply overrun from then on\, conceding 1-7 without reply. Collier struck four frees to bring her tally to eight points overall\, while Eimear Hassett’s late goal confirmed a return to Croke Park for last year’s premier junior champions. \n\nKerry vs Laois\, 3pm Saturday\, Glenisk O’Connor Park – live on the Camogie Association’s YouTube channel \nBoth teams were part of All-Ireland finals day in 2025\, with differing fortunes. \nLaois claimed the honours in the Premier Junior showpiece\, and have kicked on in 2026. The O’Moore County have looked at home at the higher level\, and stunned Down in the quarter-final with a late goal from Kaylee O’Keeffe. \nCan the Midlanders take the next step? \nKerry meanwhile fell three points short in the Intermediate finale last season. The Kingdom are bidding to go one better. DESCRIPTION:Kerry defeated Dublin by 2-16 to 1-9 in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship Semi-Final on Saturday July 18th at FBD Semple Stadium Thurles. \n\n\n🗞️REPORT \nCaptain Síofra O’Shea hit 1-08 as @kerryladiesfoot defeated @dublinladiesg to book their place in the @TG4TV All Ireland decider! \n✍🏻 @dankearney48 reports from Thurles!@MunsterLGFA @LeinsterLGFA #PeilnamBan https://t.co/3sGKqPFvTV \n— Ladies Football (@LadiesFootball) July 18\, 2026 \n  \nKerry 2-16 Dublin 1-9 \nBy Dan Kearney \nThe 2024 All Ireland champions Kerry dethroned holders Dublin with a comprehensive ten-point win at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles in the TG4 All-Ireland senior championship semi-final. \nKerry captain Síofra O’Shea scored 1-8 in a brilliant performance as her sidekick in the full forward line Jadyn Lucey struck 1-1. \nKerry lined out without the injured Anna Galvin but it made little difference early on as they raced into a 2-4 to 0-1 lead after just eight minutes with the breeze behind them. \nO’Shea’s punch over the bar in the second minute was responded to by Jodie Egan for Dublin but then Kerry took over. \nThe first goal came in the fifth minute from Lucey after an exchange of passes between Lucey and O’Shea eventually led to Danielle O’Leary setting up the corner forward to score. \nO’Shea punched over from the kick out and a minute later she finished to the top corner after she touched down a Ní Chonchúir long ball to herself and finished in style. \nKerry were rampant now and putting some serious heat on the Dublin kick out as they lined up five players across the top and further points followed from O’Shea (free) and Ní Chonchuir. \nDublin’s Orlagh Nolan from a free and Aishling O’Connell exchanged points and further scores from Lucey\, O’Shea and Kerry’s fourth punched over point of the half pushed them 2-8 to 0-2 ahead with 20 minutes played. \nThen came the Dublin fightback with a free from Nolan and a point from Kate Donaghy getting them moving. Everywhere on the field\, Limerick players were excelling. \nCentre back William O’Donoghue anchored the defence with trademark authority flanked by the splendid Diarmaid Byrnes and Kyle Hayes\, who landed gorgeous points from range. \nAt centrefield Adam English and captain Cian Lynch dovetailed nicely\, creating and taking scores. \nFurther up the pitch\, Gearóid Hegarty was industrious and influential. Cathal O’Neill\, relevant throughout\, finished the contest with 1-4. Inside\, Aaron Gillane and Peter Casey contributed four points each. \nGalway battled\, but just couldn’t cope with Limerick. Initially\, there had been some encouraging signs for the underdogs. \nJason Rabbitte was carrying a threat\, winning frees as Galway edged 0-3 to 0-2 ahead by the 11th minute. Nonetheless\, Galway goalkeeper Darach Fahy had made two fine saves to thwart Gearóid Hegarty in the early exchanges. \nFollowing Aaron Niland’s 11th minute free\, Limerick steered over four without reply. Even though the game was still in the first quarter\, it was a crucial burst. \nHegarty’s fetch and pass released English to level. Byrnes nailed two frees and Aidan O’Connor subsequently landed a point from play to edge Limerick 0-6 to 0-3 in front. \nWith Niland sharp Galway did register three of the next four scores\, but Limerick were unperturbed. Gillane\, English\, clipped points before a defiant effort from Rabbitte for Galway. \nGalway had the deficit down to two\, but three points in a row as the interval approached from the inspirational Lynch\, O’Connor (free)\, and Gillane ensured Limerick departed with a 0-13 to 0-8 advantage. \nAfter the restart it remained about Limerick’s combination of graft and craft. Limerick were eight clear\, 0-18 to 0-10\, when they pounced for a 43rd minute goal. \nGillane’s neat pass fashioned the opportunity for the dynamic O’Neill to make the Galway net dance. Limerick weren’t worried. \nO’Neill ended an eight minute search for a Limerick score. Casey added a point prior to Ronan Glennon’s 57th minute red card for a foul on the Na Piarsaigh corner forward. \nAidan O’Connor’s resultant free had Limerick 1-22 to 0-14 in the ascendancy. Darragh Neary and substitutes Conor Cooney and Colm Molloy did supply points for Galway\, but Limerick were inflicting damage too. \nByrnes\, O’Neill\, Lynch\, and substitute David Reidy whipped over delightful points as Limerick closed out the deal with the minimum of fuss. Galway did pinch a last gasp consolation goal courtesy of a Conor Cooney penalty. \nLimerick supporters\, though\, were celebrating a 13th All-Ireland SHC title. DESCRIPTION:Cork defeated Tipperary by 2-16 to 0-17 in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Semi-Final on Saturday July 25th at FBD Semple Stadium Thurles.  \n\nFirst-half goals propel Cork to sixth straight final \nReport By Daragh Ó Conchúir at FBD Semple Stadium \nCork 2-16 Tipperary 0-17 \nFirst-half goals by Amy O’Connor and Milie Condon ensured that Cork progressed to a sixth straight Glen Dimplex All-Ireland final. \nWith a record crowd for a semi-final double header of 10\,311 at FBD Semple Stadium\, Tipp got off to the type of start they would have hoped for\, winning the throw-in and then drawing a free\, converted by Eimear McGrath. \nThree minutes later\, Clodagh McIntyre got on the end of a flowing move and just inside the 45 on the Kinane Stand side of Semple Stadium\, drover the sliotar between the posts without breaking stride. \nThe riposte from Ger Manley’s fairly new-look Cork side was notable however\, Emma Murphy slotting the first of her four points from play in the opening period and the hugely influential Sorcha McCartan following up. \nO’Connor rifled home the first of the Rebels’ two first-half goals in the seventh minute\, with McCartan the provider. \nMcGrath kept Tipp in touch from frees and Casey Hennessy floated over a super score but Cork were finding a lot of space and Murphy\, McCartan\, Laura Hayes\, Saoirse McCarthy\, O’Connor and Orlaith Cahalane all pointed from play. \nCondon got in on the act with a rocket of a goal in the 21st minute and it was Ger Manley’s outfit looking strong at the interval\, leading by 2-11 to 0-8. \nYou felt that the home team would need a goal fairly early on to enthuse their sizeable contingent of supporters but the Cork defence was resolute\, Méabh Murphy reading the play well as sweeper. \nGrace O’Brien did make some menacing runs and was only denied a goal by a sensational diving save by Amy Lee\, after the Nenagh/Éire Óg attacker unleashed a shot bound for the postage stamp. \n\nCork’s Amy Lee makes a save from Tipperary’s Grace O’Brien \n\nA stop for the ages ⚡️ \nCork goalkeeper Amy Lee produced an amazing save in her sides victory over Tipperary\, which booked their place on the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Final #getbehindcamogie pic.twitter.com/XIwwDOxLK3 \n— The Camogie Association (@OfficialCamogie) July 27\, 2026 \n  \n\nCertainly\, the Premier were buoyed somewhat by that and points by McGrath from the resitamt 45\, O’Brien and a first from teenage star Caoimhe Stakelum\, made it a two-goal affair entering the final quarter. \nCahalane stretched it to seven but Tipp would not relent\, and points by Eimear Heffernan and Karin Blair kept it in the melting pot. \nIt was all about the goal. Would it come? Gone were the worries of a lacklustre league campaign and a first-round Munster Championship exit. The Rebels looked to have their old familiar swagger back. \nSaoirse McCarthy\, Amy O’Connor and Sorcha McCartan in attack will provide plenty of headaches for the Blue and Gold\, while the return of Ashling Thompson from injury is another string to their bow. \nTipperary’s semi-final hoodoo is something to behold. The Premier County have not reached the senior decider since 2006\, yet have cropped up on the penultimate stage time and time again. Indeed\, Saturday evening will be their eighth semi-final in the last nine seasons. \nJames Heffernan’s charges will be hoping they can break the duck on their home field. \nSeveral veterans on the squad know all about semi-final heartache. A first All-Ireland SFC triumph since 1951 was the reward. \nThe near misses and harrowing decider losses ensure this triumph will be gleefully celebrated for quite some time out west. \nBallyhaunis’ Jack Coyne\, heroic during the game\, climbed the Hogan Stand steps to hoist the Sam Maguire Cup. Mayo\, with a flair for the dramatic\, made sure this decider wasn’t short on intrigue. \nKerry started brightly\, accumulating a seven point advantage\, but there was a defiance about Mayo even during that testing spell. Mayo were in the groove. \nDespite trailing 1-5 to 0-1 as the end of the first quarter loomed\, Mayo eventually landed a two pointer courtesy of Jack Carney. \nSeán O’Shea replied with a point for Kerry\, but Mayo were gathering belief and momentum. Ryan O’Donoghue rifled over a two pointer and Mayo kept trimming the deficit. \nWith Jordan Flynn supplying inspiration in the trenches\, Mayo were forcing the Kerry attack to deal with a limited supply line. Nonetheless\, the Cliffords still were prominent as Kerry departed at the break armed with a 1-8 to 0-10 advantage. \nAfter the restart\, Mayo continued to probe. A Darragh Beirne point and a 45 from the splendid Kobe McDonald had Mayo ahead\, 0-12 to 1-8. Then\, O’Donoghue and David McBrien fashioned a chance for Beirne to plant a tonic 40th minute major. Suddenly\, Mayo were four to the good. \nKerry substitute Keith Evans clipped a score\, but Carney\, impressive once again\, nailed a two pointer from play. Mayo were five clear. \nInevitably\, Kerry summoned a response. The Cliffords combined to supply three points – two for Paudie and one for David\, and a Graham O’Sullivan effort had the margin down to the minimum. \nKobe McDonald’s 55th minute point carried meaning for Mayo\, but David Clifford had one between the teams with 14 minutes left. \nMayo embarked on a critical little burst.
