Ireland defeated Scotland by 2-18 to 0-8 in the Senior Hurling/Shinty International Series 2nd Test on Saturday October 25th at Newry. Ireland won on aggregate over the 2 legs by 7 points.

Hurling/Shinty International Series

The first test of the 2014 Senior Hurling/Shinty International Series involving Ireland and Scotland will take place on 18th October at 2.00pm in Bught Park, Inverness.

The Hurling/Shinty senior series is played on a home and away basis. The return game will be played in Newry on 25th October along with the U21 game which takes place at 3pm and the senior game at 5.00pm. The Senior Test will be shown live on TG4.

The Irish Hurling/Shinty senior team will be managed again this year by Michael Walsh (Kilkenny).
