Lá Gaeilge CLG i gColáiste na Rinne

Is áil le Coiste Cultúrtha na Mumhan CLG a fhógairt go mbeidh Lá Gaeilge CLG á reachtáil i gColáiste na Rinne, An Rinn, Co. Phort Láirge ar an gCéadaoin 21 Lúnasa. Seo an dara bliain don teacht le chéile seo i nGaeltacht na nDéise agus tá clár suimiúil curtha le chéile don ócáid.

Tugann an teacht le chéile seo deis do dhaoine blaiseadh den Ghaeilge agus den Ghaeltacht a fháil i slí atá taitneamhach agus spéisiúil. Tá sé mar aidhm ag an CLG an Ghaeilge agus ár gcultúr a chur chun cinn i measc na mball agus is ag tógaint ar an mbunús sin a eagraítear an lá seo.

Cuirfear tús le himeachtaí an lae le cur i láthair ó Choiste na Gaeilge de chuid CLG ag díriú ar an obair atá idir lámha acu. Ina dhiaidh sin, tabharfaidh Dónal Ó Gráda caint ar a fhís don iománaíocht, ag tarraingt ar an taithí atá aige mar imreoir, mar bhainisteoir agus mar anailísí thar na blianta. Beidh Eoin Breathnach i gceannas ar shaotharlann a dhíreoidh ar thodhchaí an chlub agus tar éis lón, cuirfidh Cathaoirleach Chomhairle na Mumhan, Roibeárd an tSeaca fáilte go hoifigiúil roimh gach éinne.

Labhróidh iar-Uachtarán ar Chúige Uladh, Aogán Ó Fearghaíl sa tráthnóna agus críochnóidh an lá le cuairt go dtí an stiúdió teilifíse atá ag Nemeton, comhlacht a chuireann cluichí ar fáil beo do TG4 i rith na bliana. Tá an cúrsa seo á eagrú taobh le Daonscoil na Mumhan.

GAA Lá Gaeilge in Coláiste na Rinne

Coiste Cultúrtha na Mumhan is pleased to announce that it will be organising an Irish language day in Coláiste na Rinne, An Rinn, Co Waterford on Wednesday, 21 August. This is the second year of the event which is hoped to attract people with an interest in GAA and an Ghaeilge in particular from the provinces of Munster and Leinster.

The aim of the course is to promote our language and culture among members of the Association.

The day will include talks, workshops and discussions of topical matters in the GAA world. There will be numerous guest speakers on the day, all having strong GAA connections, including former Cork All Ireland winning player and manager Dónal O’Grady and Aogán Ó Fearghaíl, former Ulster GAA President. There will be a specific workshop focusing on the future of the club with the association, as well as a visit to the local tv studios of Nemeton TV, who are behind the live GAA action on TG4.
