Property Insurance and Flood damage

In light of the recent weather, all GAA units that whilst there is cover for flood damage under the GAA property policy the excess in respect of flood danage under the policy is €25,000.

Our policy is very unique in the current market place where many private dwellings and business have no flood cover in certain locations and the increased excess reflects the unavailability of insurance within the market in recent years for flood cover.
