Limerick 4-15 Antrim 0-15

From the GAA.ie web site

Limerick signed off on the group stages of their Allianz Hurling League Division Two campaign with a 4-15 to 0-15 defeat of Antrim. Having already booked their place in the League final, there was little for Donal O’Grady’s charges to play for, but they sent out a signal of intent to their opponents in next month’s decider, Clare, with a four-goal salvo. Limerick led by 1-10 to 0-6 at half-time after Kevin Downes had put Seán Tobin through for goal after just three minutes. Downes would then score two goals in the second half, the second of which came right at the death as the Saffrons’ challenge fell apart. Antrim were overly-reliant on the free-taking of Neil McManus, who scored 0-5 in the second half alone. Stephen Lucey and Shane Hickey were in dominant form for the Treaty County defence, while Tobin and Graham Mulcahy were a constant threat in attack.
